One School Two Campuses

It was a beautiful day for nature walk and that is just what some Red Gables and Devon Farms students did. Mrs. Hempel and Mrs. Royse took their two classes to visit with Ms. Tuttle's junior and senior science students for a day of scavenger hunts, animal casts and nature observation at the EHS River Campus. Each pre-1st student is paired up at the beginning of the year with a 3rd grade student from Mrs. Royse's class as reading buddies and now nature buddies. Each pair went with one of Ms. Tuttle's high school science students to explore the animal life at the River Campus bridge. Different animal footprints were found and the kids even got to see a live snake!
